Lydia Troupe

-I’Shadayne

Born in Belize City, and constantly moving from state to state, Lydia Troupe was drawn to sharing her experiences and particular opinions through photography and writing. Her grandmother was an artist- you could call her a painter. Her grandfather was a philosopher on his own time and was a man that loved to sing. Growing up around family when Lydia was younger in Belize, she believe all these experiences and gifts were passed down to her to express generational art and made her a renaissance woman. Now focused on story telling and creative direction- the name I’Shadayne was born to encapsulate the renaissance of who Lydia is and evolves to be. The “I” being the letter L of her first name, “Shadayne” her middle name and the absence of her last name as a metaphor for “the forever change and no ending”.
